Strength

Strength.  What does strength mean to you?  As I get older my definition of strength has evolved to be much different then what it once was.   Once upon a time I used to believe you had strength if you could forge out into the world on your own with no help from others, yelling your beliefs from the rooftop.  Now I understand strength to include asking for help and allowing others to be there for you when life gets tough.  Strength means listening to your intuition and trusting in yourself, and not letting that self-doubt creep in and control your actions.   Strength means allowing others to have their own thoughts and beliefs without making them wrong, rather understanding we can be different and co-exist.  Lastly, I understand now that strength has nothing to do with who can yell louder, real strength is shown by those that live life quietly teaching and spreading love and compassion to everybody they encounter.
